Guillotine
Each game consists of a three minute round, a one minute break, and then another three minute round with the position of the players switched.
Top Player:
- Position: Standing disconnected in front of your partner with upright posture.
- Objective: Touch your partner's ribs or chest.
- Constraints: Do not touch your partner's shoulders or head.
- Win Condition: None
Bottom Player:
- Position: Standing disconnected in front of your partner with upright posture.
- Objective: Do not allow your partner to touch you. Break contact when they do.
- Constraints: Do not touch your partner's shoulders or head.
- Win Condition: None
This game is continuous
Top Player:
- Position: Standing while straddling your supine partner with the top of your head touching the mat in their armpit. Their arm should be wrapped around your neck with their hands connected. The position should be uncomfortable, but you should not be getting actively choked.
- Objective: Focus on freeing your head from the submission using movement and by fighting their hands.
- Constraints: None
- Win Condition: Freeing your head.
Bottom Player:
- Position: Laying on the ground belly up with your partner's feet on either side of your body and with their head on the mat in your armpit. Your arm should wrap around their neck and your hands should be connected.
- Objective: Maintain control of your opponent without actively choking them.
- Constraints: Do not finish the submission.
- Win Condition: None
Reset if top player wins.
Top Player:
- Position: Standing while straddling your supine partner with the top of your head touching the mat in their armpit. They should have one arm wrapped around your neck. The position should be uncomfortable, but you should not be getting actively choked.
- Objective: Focus on freeing your head from the submission using movement and by fighting their hands.
- Constraints: None
- Win Condition: Freeing your head.
Bottom Player:
- Position: Laying on the ground belly up with your partner's feet on either side of your body and with their head on the mat in your armpit. You should have one arm wrapped around their neck.
- Objective: Maintain control of your opponent without connecting your hands.
- Constraints: Do not connect your hands or finish the submission.
- Win Condition: None

Top Player:
- Position: Standing while straddling your supine partner with the top of your head touching the mat in their armpit. Their arm should be wrapped around your neck with their hands connected. The position should be uncomfortable, but you should not be getting actively choked.
- Objective: Focus on freeing your head from the submission using movement and by fighting their hands.
- Constraints: None
- Win Condition: Freeing your head and getting your legs back between you and your partner or standing for 3 seconds.
Bottom Player:
- Position: Laying on the ground belly up with your partner's feet on either side of your body and with their head on the mat in your armpit. Your arm should wrap around their neck and your hands should be connected.
- Objective: Maintain control of your opponent without actively choking them. When they escape the guillotine finish with any other submission before the scramble ends.
- Constraints: Do not finish the guillotine.
- Win Condition: Tapping your partner with any submission except the guillotine that you started with.
Reset if top player wins.
Top Player:
- Position: On your knees in front of your training partner with your partner's feet inside your knees.
- Objective: Break your partner's connections to your body and pin them to their back.
- Constraints: None
- Win Condition: Pinning bottom player to their back.
Bottom Player:
- Position: Seated on your butt with our feet between your partner's knees.
- Objective: Work to connect to your partner using your hands and feet. Attempt to make your partner post, and when they do keep their hand(s) on the mat for as long as possible.
- Constraints: None
- Win Condition: None
6 Minute Round
Live round with a partner. Start standing if you are able to do so safely. Otherwise pick the starting position from one of the previous games and start there. Roll to submission, reset, and continue. Repeat as many times as possible before the round ends.
